Submission for FACEOFF 2023
is now open

This brief aims to clarify what you as an athlete can expect when participating in a FACEOFF Competition, and what we expect from you.

Please read the following information before signing up.

FACEOFF is soon to take off once again! Last year we visited the “moon” (Denmark, Norway and Sweden), what a journey, so many new faces joined the FACEOFF family and we are now ready for the next expedition. This year “Mars” is on our horizon – 3 outstanding Qualifiers are ahead of us. First in Svendborg, Denmark, second in Sola, Norway and third in Västerås, Sweden. We finish off by uniting the best and most creative athletes in a big explosion of epic gymnastics, when we open the doors to our Main Event i Forum Horsens, Denmark the 9th of december. All qualifiers and the main event will be on a new and bigger level, we can’t wait to show what we are planning.

In recent years FACEOFF has become an internationalised project, and friendships across borders and cultures have grown out of that. This side effect has become a key objective for us and we want to keep nursing and growing our community. There is so much we can learn from each other and for that reason it is more important than ever, that we keep showing up, expanding the boundaries within gymnastics, showcase it – and inspire others to do the same. We strive to stay playful together on our journey to our next destinations in the gym, arenas,  or wherever we as gymnasts wanna go.

In FACEOFF we are constantly working to improve the overall settings for you as a gymnast, and to give as many talented gymnasts an opportunity to join the competition and the community. We hope this brief helps you to get more clarity around your participation.

We are looking so much forward to seeing you in August, September and December and to develop the sport we all love, and keep exploring its many possibilities.

Now, the practical stuff.

  • You can participate in both Crew and Individuals, but not in the same qualifier.
  • If you qualify for both crew and individuals, you need to decide what competition you’ll join at the Main Event.

To get a spot in the individual competition you must submit and let us know that you want a spot. When we know where and when you want to participate we will solve the big puzzle and decide the lineup for the three qualifications. The decision on who is getting a spot is based on the following qualities. For this process we will look into previous Achievements.
